Welcome to Carhireinsure.com

Welcome to carhireinsure.com, advising you on car hire and taking out Excess insurance to protect against excess charges whenever you hire a car, all for a low annual premium.

Taking out Excess insurance insures the Policy Holder rather than the car, which means that you are covered for unlimited car hire throughout your chosen policy period and your chosen location – whether Europe, North America, Worldwide, or close to home.

The Excess insurance is provided by leading insurance specialist Insurance4carhire, and covers the Excess up to £2,000 for which you are liable if your hire car is damaged or stolen. It also includes damage to the roof and undercarriage of the car, and windows and tyres. Learn more about how hire car excess insurance works here.

How Excess Insurance Works

When you hire a car it usually comes with inclusive car rental insurance to cover damage to the rental car, the car being stolen, and third party liability.

HOWEVER, on the Damage and Theft portions of the cover the car hire insurance is only reducing what you are personally liable for, and there is often a car hire excess to pay in the event of having to make a claim. In Europe this can be a few hundred pounds. In other countries it can be as much as £1500. Taking out Excess insurance protects you against these charges. READ MORE HERE
