Annual Policy covering SLI & CDW in USA & Canada and Excess worldwide
This policy covers: CDW/LDW (damage, theft and loss of use of the rental vehicle)and SLI (third party) in the USA, Canada, the Caribbean and South America: and it covers Excess charges worldwide. Car rental companies in USA and Canada generally charge between US$20 and US$30 per day for Collision Damage Waiver (CDW/LDW) and Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI). Car rental companies charge up to £12 a day for Excess at the car rental counter
- Covers the rented vehicle in the USA, Canada, South America and the Caribbean for Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)/Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) up to US$80,000
- Provides Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), in the USA, Canada, South America and the Caribbean, up to US $1 million
- Covers Excess on damage to the rental vehicle, Excess on theft and damage to windows/glass, tyres/wheels, the undercarriage and the roof anywhere in the world where Excess is charged.

How it works – CDW/SLI: You must show the policy to the car rental company when you rent a car. Claims are handled directly between the insurance company and the rental company.
How it works – Excess: Decline the car rental company’s excess insurance at the counter. Charges for any damage to the vehicle will be charged on your credit card by the car rental company and you claim for full reimbursement.
Note: Not recommended for use in conjunction with fly-drive programmes in the USA and Canada.
